Krishi Vigyan Kendra -Khordha the “Farm Science Centre” of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi was established in 1977. The KVK works for Khordha District of Odisha State and hosted by ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneshwar. The KVK is situated in the sprawling campus of CIFA at Kausalyaganga which is 14 kms from the capital city Bhubaneswar. The madate of the KVK is to work on technology assessment, refinement and demonstration. 
1.Technologies of ICAR-CIFA has been undertaken as adaptive trials ( Jayanti rohu, Immunoboost-C, Farm made feed, CIFABROOD, Incorporation of minor carps in polyculture system, Polyculture of IMC with prawns)
2.Sharing of database on technology assessed and demonstrated
3.Demonstration of community aquaculture with expertise advice from Scientists of ICAR-CIFA
4.Joint implementation and sharing of resources for the development programmes like Sansaad Adarsh Gram Yojana,
Farmers First Project of ICAR-CIFA , Mera Gau Mera Gaurav, Soil Health Card scheme, Swaach Bharath Mission and many others
